Concert Artists of Baltimore is a all professional Chamber Orchestra and Chorus that was founded in 1986 by Maestro Edward Polochick.

For their 25th, 26th, and 27th seasons, we created a rebranding campaign to engage a younger generation of serious music lovers while expanding their tried and true audience of those who donate, sponsor, and support classical music across the Mid-Atlantic.

To reenvision their brand, a logo was developed that subtly played upon the acronym “CAB” by placing two stemless quarter notes and a half note onto a bar of a music clef.

For their 27th season, the campaign we created brought to life the “Human Powered Beauty” that is behind the making of powerful performances. Statuesque arms, holding orchestral instruments, puncture a composition between the black lines of the staff. Models were hand painted alabaster white to drawing references from classical sculptural forms, while the graphic black lines visually bring a fresh take on musical compositions.

For their 26th season, we centered the campaign around the idea that, for centuries, orchestras have been playing music that was written many moons ago by a bunch of dead guys. CAB dedicated the season to building an audience for the “Music for the next 500 years.”
